The Commander of 1 Canadian Air Division (1 CAD), Major-General Yvan Blondin, was accompanied by Brigadier-General Richard Foster, Deputy Commander of Force Generation,1 CAD; Colonel David Wheeler, Commander of 4 Wing Cold Lake; and 1 CAD Chief Warrant Officer, Guy St-Jean, for a visit to the Task Force Kandahar Air Wing from 17-20 January 2011 to observe operations and visit Air Wing personnel.
