Brigadier-General Dean Milner, Commander of Task Force Kandahar (TFK), and his Sergeant-Major, Chief Warrant Officer Kirby Burgess, visit the troops in Panjwa’i and Dand, and meet different leaders of the Afghan National Army, Afghan National Police and representative of the Afghan government. Task Force Kandahar will continue robust security operations in conjunction with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA), Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), and its coalition and civilian partners in order to eliminate insurgent violence and set the conditions for successful and sustainable governance, development and peace in Southern Afghanistan.
